Kelcey has spent nearly a decade serving children and families in public schools and pediatric private practice throughout Southern California, working with families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds along the way.
Having worked directly with more than five school districts, she has seen firsthand how much evaluation practices can vary from one team to the next—an experience that shapes her commitment to evaluations that are thorough, objective, and educationally meaningful.
Kelcey specializes in reading assessment data in the context of a student's actual educational performance: the academic, social, and functional impact of a communication challenge, not just a standardized score. Reports draw on testing, clinical and classroom observation, records, and input from teachers and parents alike.
